Yes. Applicants must be 18 years or older to apply. Applications from underage individuals will be automatically disqualified.

The application itself is free. However, a participation fee will be discussed personally with selected artists after the audition round has been completed.
Absolutely not — we prefer raw, real footage. A phone camera in good lighting is perfectly fine. We're judging your talent, not your production quality.
No. Your audition video must be recorded specifically for this application — raw, unedited, and filmed within the last 2 months. Repurposed social media content will be disqualified regardless of quality.
Compress it using a free tool like HandBrake before uploading. Make sure it stays in MP4 format after compression.
No. One video per applicant only. Choose your best single continuous take.
No. Once submitted, your application is final. Make sure everything is correct before hitting submit.
Every application is personally reviewed by the T Rex team. We look at your discipline, experience level, portfolio, artist statement, and audition video together.
You will hear back within 7 days of submitting your application.
Yes. Every applicant will receive a response — selected or not — via email or call.
Yes. Not being selected for Protocol 2026 does not ban you from future T Rex events.
You'll receive a confirmation with full event details, schedule, what to bring, and next steps for the event. Further discussions regarding participation will follow from there.
Yes. Commitment to both Day 1 (incubation) and Day 2 (showcase) is mandatory. Partial attendance is not accepted.
Yes. Accommodation is included and provided inside the venue for all selected artists for the duration of the event.
Selected artists receive the full Protocol 2026 experience — industry seminars, ADP workshops, main stage showcase time, and an official Protocol 2026 Certification. Note that selected artists are required to pay a participation fee which will be communicated after the audition round.
Day 1 is closed — artists and coordinators only. Guests may attend Day 2 as general consumers by purchasing a ticket.
You do. T Rex may use clips for promotional purposes with full credit to you, as stated in the submission terms.
Yes. Your data is used solely for the Protocol 2026 selection process and will not be shared with third parties.
